Welcome to the worship service with Oriole-York Mills and Centennial-Japanese United Churches .If you are visiting or here for the first time, please sign the guest books located at the entrance to the Narthex. Everyone is invited to join for refreshments, downstairs, following the service. Proceeds from the sandwiches and coffee service go towards the Mission and Service Fund.

Spiritual Journey: Worship

Flowers

If you care to donate flowers for a Sunday worship service in memoriam or for a special occasion, please contact T Ichiyen by Wednesday prior to a service. The flowers can be taken to one of our church members or friends to brighten their day.

Food Bank

On the first Sunday of each month you are invited to bring donations for the Food Bank. (Please note, you are welcome to bring food any Sunday as well.) In this season, donations of Christmas cards and 2012 calendars would also be welcome. Thank you for your support. The Food Bank is also in need of both plastic bags and large paper bags with handles. If you have extra bags please bring them to the church and place them in the Food Bank box. Thank you.

Reflection and Prayer

Please feel free to stay after the service and pray quietly. You are welcome to pick up a stone or a shell at the front of the sanctuary to use as a point of meditation or take away for meditation during the week. When you are ready, please leave in silence and join others in the lounge for refreshments.

Some questions for your reflection and quiet prayer: What temptations are you currently experiencing? How are you using God’s Word to help you trust God more?
