In the event of bad weather conditions it may become necessary to cancel the Sunday worship service. - Here is how the decision will be made and how you will be notified: Rev. Cindy, H Ichiyen (alternate K Shikaze) and C MacLean (alternate D Worth) will have a conversation before 8:00 am Sunday morning and will decide whether or not to cancel the service that day. Those who are on the email list will be notified by 8:30 am Sunday morning, if in fact the service is going to be cancelled. - So, if the weather is bad, please check your email before heading off to Church. Summer Camp for Children!

It's a great summer adventure for kids from ages 5-15 years old. Visit the website www.sparrowlakecamp.com and check out the videos on Youtube to see for yourself. www.youtube.com/SparrowLakeCamping. Sparrow Lake United Church Camp is a caring, inclusive Christian community providing a quality outdoor camping experience

Stamps

We are collecting used postage stamps for The Leprosy Mission Canada » . They prefer that the stamps are cut from the envelopes leaving about a 1/4 inch paper border. The stamps donated are sold by the Mission to dealers and money raised is used to supply medicine, care and rehabilitation to people suffering from leprosy. The stamps can be left in the STAMP BOX in the church. Thank you!

NOTE: The Mission wishes you to know that churches like ours have helped change the used stamps collected into $11,000 – an increase of $4,000 over last year. Let’s keep up the good work!!!
